This is a video of an amazing person called Aimee Mullins. I found this video in an effort to build a greater understanding of prosthetics and how they are applicable specifically to double-leg amputees, in the hopes of creating a story with a double-leg amputee as its main character.

And this, is just flat out amazing and far better than any fiction I could devise.
